If you’ve been following Operation Hood’s story, Monroe may look familiar to you, she’s been in pictures and videos on Facebook and featured in our 2018 calendar. Unlike many of the cats from the colony, She is friendly with people and enjoys being petted, so in early January the decision was made to try moving her to a foster home to see how she would adjust to indoor living. Everything was new and scary at first, but after a while, she started venturing out of the bathroom more and more, until one day she decided that being a house kitty was definitely the life for her. And now we would like to announce that she is officially up for adoption and would love to become someone’s indoor cat.
Monroe has discovered the joys of a soft bed and spends much of her time either there, or on the cat tree checking out the birds outside. As soon as you sit down, She crawls in your lap for pets and cuddles, however she still does not like to be picked up. She has been 100% perfect using the litter box and gets along well with other cats. If you are interested in meeting her please contact us via our web page and we will get back in touch with you to set up a meeting. This sweet girl has a lot of love to offer and is hoping to meet her forever family soon.
